Working with Giles Deacon has revealed a collection that delights in our floral heritage, with a nod to utilitarianism and history that Giles explores in his work.

Taken from an original block print design in our archive, this classic floral chintz is a fine example of the beautiful and abundant flower representations of the early 20th century. Bursts of bouquets come to life in this design with roses and small rosebuds, irises, carnations, and poppies, as well as cyclamens and pansies. A typical Sanderson floral pattern printed on 100% bottalato linen, for a wonderfully soft hand, Lakeland Paradis has been beautifully recolored with a sense of depth and shadow in the petals and leaves of the flowers, contrasting with the strong patterns on which they are featured.
