Guidelines for proper use

Before you start using Terra Magica, remember these simple guidelines that will help you achieve extraordinary and professional textured effects on your projects!

First step

To properly prepare the Magic Earth, get a clean and large container. Follow the ideal proportions: for every 100g of Magic Earth, add 30g of cold water and 20g of pure glossy protective from the Magic Paint line. Start by pouring the powder into the container, then gradually add the water while stirring with a stick to avoid lumps. Finally, incorporate the glossy protective, continuing to stir vigorously until you get a homogeneous mixture with the desired consistency. Remember that you have about 30 minutes of working time before the product starts to harden.

Second step

Choose the tools best suited to the effect you want to create. For a rustic and irregular effect, use a flexible spatula applying the product with random movements. For a more uniform and smooth effect, prefer a steel trowel, spreading the product with wide and regular movements. The beauty of Terra Magica lies precisely in the possibility of creating customized textures: you can experiment with different tools such as natural sponges, notched spatulas, or even found objects to imprint unique patterns. Apply the product with varying thicknesses to enhance the three-dimensional effect.

Third step

After application, you can further work the surface while it is still wet to perfect the desired effect. With a pointed tool, you can gently engrave the surface creating designs or patterns. For an antique effect, let it partially dry and then slightly compress some areas with a clean spatula. The drying times vary depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment, as well as the thickness applied. Under standard conditions, wait at least 24 hours for complete drying before proceeding with any decorative finishes.

Fourth step

Once completely dry, the surface can be further customized to enhance its material beauty. For an antique effect, apply one of the colored waxes from the Magic Paint line, focusing on the recesses and more textured areas, then remove the excess with a soft cloth to highlight the reliefs. To add a touch of color, you can use diluted Magic Paint paints as glazes, applying them with a dry brush and dabbing off the excess. To ensure durability and resistance, always finish with a final protective coat, preferably transparent so as not to alter the achieved material effect.
