Guidelines for proper use

Before applying the Satin Protective "Satin Marron Glacé" on your restyling projects, follow these simple guidelines that will allow you to achieve a professional result with a wonderful walnut color effect that will enhance every surface.

First step

Make sure the surface to be treated is completely clean and free of dust or residues.
If you are applying the protective coating on a piece of furniture already painted with Magic Paint, check that the paint is completely dry. For raw wood surfaces, a light sanding with fine-grit sandpaper is recommended to open the wood pores and promote product absorption.
Thoroughly clean with a slightly damp microfiber cloth and allow to dry completely before proceeding with the application.

Second step

Mix the product well before use to homogenize the walnut color pigment. You can apply the protective pure for a more intense effect or diluted with water at 10/20% for a more delicate and transparent result. Use a quality brush or roller with soft bristles and apply the product following the wood grain with even and light strokes. Pay particular attention to avoiding buildup on the edges which could create unsightly dark spots. For large surfaces, you can also use a short-nap roller.

Third step

Let the first coat dry completely, taking advantage of the fast drying that characterizes this product. If you want a more intense effect or greater protection, you can apply a second thin coat after about 2-3 hours, when the first is perfectly dry. To achieve an antique or worn effect, you can gently dab with a dry cloth while the product is still fresh, creating shading and tonal variations. Wait at least 24 hours before using the treated object to allow the protective to develop maximum resistance.
