Guidelines for proper use

Before applying the glossy protective "Gloss Marron Glacé" on your restyling projects, follow these simple guidelines that will allow you to achieve a professional result with a wonderful walnut-colored lacquered effect that will completely transform your surfaces.

First step

Make sure the surface to be treated is perfectly clean, dry, and free of dust or residues that could compromise the glossy finish. If you are applying the protective coating on a piece of furniture already painted with Magic Paint, ensure that the paint is completely dry. For raw wood surfaces, a light sanding with fine-grit sandpaper is recommended to create a smooth and even base. Carefully remove all traces of dust with a slightly damp microfiber cloth and allow to dry completely before proceeding.

Second step

Mix the product well before use to homogenize the walnut color pigment. You can apply the protective pure for an intense lacquered effect or diluted with water at 10/20% for a more delicate but still shiny result. Use a quality soft-bristle brush or a short-pile sponge roller to achieve a perfect finish. Apply the product with light and even strokes, paying particular attention to avoid buildup on the edges that could compromise the final glossy appearance.

Third step

Let the first coat dry completely, taking advantage of the fast drying feature of this product. If you want a more intense lacquered effect or greater protection, apply a second thin coat after about 2-3 hours, when the first is perfectly dry to the touch. For a professional finish, lightly sand between coats with very fine sandpaper (grit 600 or higher). Wait at least 24-48 hours before using the treated object to allow the protective to develop maximum resistance and shine.
