Description

J’adore is a semi-gel water-based paint, bright and thick, in light gold color.

125 ml

GUIDELINES FOR PROPER USE

Before and during use, it must be mixed carefully because the metallic pigments tend to separate from the gel.

It should be used over an absorbent base; if the underlying surface is not rough and absorbent, we recommend applying a coat of Magic Paint before applying it.

It has a very opaque finish if used with a fully loaded brush; if you use a dry brush, you can achieve metallic glazes or perform a dry brush technique.

It can also be mixed with Magic Star and Materic Cream to obtain a perfect gold textured paste for creating stencils or spatula effects.

In this case, you will get a thick decoration with a texture like matte antique gold filigree.

For a luminous effect and to preserve the brightness of the metallic color, it is recommended to protect it with a glossy protective coating.

If you choose wax or a satin protective coating, the effect will be slightly more matte.

Guidelines for proper use

Before you start painting, remember these simple guidelines, they will help you achieve a flawless restyling!

First step

To remove dust and impurities from the surface you want to paint, start by preparing a solution with 1 liter of warm water, 2/3 tablespoons of baking soda, and half a glass of ammonia. A perfectly cleaned base will ensure better paint adhesion and a longer-lasting result. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a microfiber cloth to avoid streaks or residue. Make sure the surface is completely dry before proceeding with painting.

Second step

Apply the first coat without diluting the paint; it will adhere to all surfaces (wood, tiles, iron, glass, marble, veneer, plastic, etc.)
Remember: the application should be done by spreading the paint well and taking care not to leave drips or accumulations on the corners.
Avoid going back and forth, as you risk using more paint and not covering the surface well. If the materials to be painted are rough or porous, dilute the paint already in the first coat with 20% water.

Third step

The second coat should be applied only after the first is completely dry and warm to the touch.
Magic Paint dries quickly, in 1-2 hours in low humidity environments, but on wall tiles the times may be longer. Proceed by diluting the paint by 15-20% to improve performance and coverage. The amount of thinner depends on the porosity of the surface, temperature, and humidity of the environment at the time of application.
Remember: light colors may require an extra coat for better coverage.

Fourth step

Always protect Magic Paint with the product best suited to your needs.
For low-wear restyling, such as nightstands, dressers, and wardrobes, Legendary Wax or Jasmine Wax are the ideal choices: in addition to protecting, they give the surface an elegant look and a glossy finish, making it easy to clean and durable.
For furniture or surfaces with high wear, such as chairs, tables, and kitchens, the Transparent Liquid Protector guarantees high resistance, preserving beauty and durability over time.
For surfaces in direct contact with water, we recommend the Magic Water protector
