Guidelines for proper use

Before you start applying Il Restauratore, remember these simple guidelines; they will help you achieve a flawless restoration and bring new life to your damaged furniture!

First step

To prepare the surface, gently remove dust and dirt from the furniture using a slightly damp cloth. Make sure the area to be treated is clean and dry before proceeding. It is not necessary to sand or remove the old paint, as Il Restauratore is designed to integrate with the existing finish. This will allow you to intervene only on the damaged areas, keeping the rest of the surface intact and preserving the original character of the furniture.

Second step

Apply the Restorer evenly with a brush, immediately polish with circular motions using a soft and smooth cloth, preferably not microfiber. The application technique is fundamental: gently massage the product onto the damaged surface, applying light pressure to promote penetration into the scratched areas. Alternatively, you can spread it with elongated movements following the direction of the wood grain, but always remember to massage the product to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Third step

Let the Restorer dry completely, without forcing the process with direct heat sources. Once dry, you will notice that the surface has acquired a pleasant velvety finish to the touch. For an optimal result, you can apply a second coat on particularly damaged areas, always waiting for complete drying between applications.

On raw wood, first apply a layer of transparent protective wax from the Magic Paint line, which will ensure greater durability and resistance.
