Guidelines for proper use

Before you start applying the "Re Mida" Leaf, remember these simple guidelines; they will help you achieve flawless metallic effects that will transform your projects into true masterpieces!

First step

Carefully prepare the surface you want to decorate with metal leaf, making sure it is clean, dry, and free of dust. For optimal adhesion, you can use the Missione "LINFA" specific Magic Paint adhesive. This adhesive base is essential to ensure that the leaf adheres perfectly to the surface and creates that precious and lasting effect you desire. Apply the adhesive precisely only to the areas you want to decorate.

Second step

Once the adhesive becomes transparent but still sticky to the touch, it is the perfect time to apply the metal leaf. Thanks to the exclusive decal system, you can place the leaf directly on the surface, with the tissue paper side facing up. Gently press with a soft brush or your fingers, making sure the leaf fully adheres to the underlying adhesive. The tissue paper backing will allow you to handle the leaf without the risk of tears or creases, ensuring precise control.

Third step

Gently remove the backing tissue paper only when you are sure the leaf has fully adhered to the surface. Use a soft brush to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles and to remove excess parts.
To create custom decorative effects, you can apply the leaf partially or in patches, or use a stencil with the adhesive mission to create patterns and designs. Always protect your work with a clear sealing product to prevent oxidation and ensure the metallic shine lasts over time.
