Guidelines for proper use

Before applying the solid wax to your Magic Paint projects, follow these simple guidelines that will allow you to achieve a professional patina effect that will enhance the details and grain of your creations, giving them an authentic and refined appearance.

First step

Make sure that the surface painted with Magic Paint is completely dry and already treated with a transparent protective wax. The solid wax is applied as a final touch to enhance the details, so it is important that the base is already protected. Choose the color of the solid wax in contrast with the tone of the surface for a more pronounced effect, or in a similar shade for a more delicate result. Before application, carefully clean the surface to remove dust or fingerprints that could compromise the adhesion of the wax and the final result.

Second step

Use a quality soft-bristle brush to take a small amount of solid wax from the jar. Apply the product focusing on the carvings, moldings, and details you want to highlight. For a more superficial effect, lightly brush over the raised parts; to emphasize frames and deep ornaments, press the brush more to deposit more product in the recessed areas. Work on small areas at a time, so you can better control the intensity of the patina effect and quickly correct any excess.

Third step

After application, you have 5-10 minutes to remove excess wax and adjust the desired effect. Use a soft cotton cloth and, with gentle movements, dab the areas where the wax is excessive. This step is crucial to achieve a natural and not overly marked result. If you want to correct any mistakes or excess patina, you can use the neutral Leggendaria wax as an "eraser" to soften the effect.
After about 6 hours, when the wax has completely dried, gently polish the surface with a clean cloth to achieve the desired final finish.
