ABA: Water+Baking Soda+Ammonia

What is ABA?

Many ask us: ABA is not a ready-made product, but an acronym that stands for Hot Water – Baking Soda – Ammonia.

It is a simple homemade mixture, essential before every restyling.

Before giving new life to your furniture, accessories, or surfaces, the preparation phase is what makes the difference between a rushed job and a quality restyling.

👉 A well-cleaned support is the ideal base to ensure durability, performance, and perfect adhesion of the paint.

Mixture Preparation

Pour 1 liter of hot water into a bucket or sturdy container.

Add 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda and stir until dissolved.

Pour half a glass of ammonia and stir again.

⚠️ Tip: always use gloves and work in a well-ventilated area.

Surface Cleaning

Dip a microfiber cloth or sponge into the mixture.

Carefully wipe the entire surface to be treated (furniture, accessories, or any surface).

Focus well on the dirtiest, greasy spots or areas with residues of old waxes/products.

Rinsing

Once the surface is cleaned, immediately wipe with a clean cloth soaked in plain water.

Dry with a dry cloth or let dry naturally.

Final Result

The surface will be:
