Can a surface in Marble be colored with Magic Paint?

With Magic Paint, you can change the color of any marble surface without sanding or applying bonding products beforehand.

It has a high adhesive power that ensures it sticks and lasts over time. Moreover, it is natural and odorless, so it can be used indoors without any problem.

Alternatively, you can simply make it brighter or protect it or apply a stencil with our Materic Cream

Usage is very simple:

– The first step is to thoroughly degrease the surface you want to paint with hot water, ammonia, and baking soda (in one liter of water, add 3/4 tablespoons of baking soda and a capful of ammonia; if you are allergic to ammonia, just water and baking soda are enough). These are the only products that clean the surface well without leaving residues.

– Once the surface is dry, you can proceed with the painting. Open the can, stir well, and apply the first coat very thinly (avoid leaving drips on the edges as they will not look aesthetically pleasing at the end). Let the surface dry well before proceeding to the third step (it is considered dry when the surface feels warm to the touch. Drying times depend on your environment and the season).

If you want a smooth effect, we recommend using the ROLLER and adopting this technique: https://elisirhome.com/come-si-ottiene-un-effetto-liscio-moderno-con-la-magic-paint/

– The second coat completely covers the surface, so the color underneath will no longer be visible. If the first coat was already very opaque, the second coat can be diluted with 10/15% water. Let it dry well.

– Finally, depending on the furniture, it is recommended to protect with WAX (nightstands, dressers, wardrobes, low-use furniture) or with LIQUID PROTECTIVE COATING (kitchens, chairs, tables, doors, high-use furniture).
