After painting with Magic Paint, should the furniture or surface be protected?

Yes, always!

The furniture or any surface must always be protected after painting to ensure a durable and long-lasting finish.

Here’s how to choose and apply the right protective!

Magic Paint offers 4 different types of protection, based on the level of wear your furniture will be subjected to. Let's see them in detail!

For LOW WEAR restyling

(nightstands, dressers, wardrobes, entrance furniture...)

Legendary Wax or Jasmine Wax

Ideal for protecting and enhancing surfaces that are not subject to daily stress.

How to apply:

Use a brush to apply the wax, using the cross-brushing technique, to cover the entire surface well.

After 1-2 hours, massage with a cloth (old cotton t-shirt or microfiber cloth).

If necessary, repeat the massage the next day to increase protection and achieve an even softer finish.

⚠️ Never use the wax brush for painting! The oily base may compromise color adhesion.

Jasmine Oil

Perfect for ancient, raw, or treated woods, but also on light marbles!

Functions:

Revitalizes and brightens ancient woods

Nourishes raw woods

Tones with a natural shade

Makes surfaces water-repellent

How to apply:

Spread with a brush

After about 1 hour, massage with a cloth

Ideal for:

Raw or dyed woods, Woods with shellac or impregnating agents, Marbles or marked stones

Magic Paint Liquid Protector

Always to be diluted! Add 15-30% water, mix well and apply with:

Brush

Sponge

Magic Paint sponge roller

Available in:

Satin or Glossy or Matte

Available in 250 ml and 500 ml

For very worn surfaces:
Apply 2 or in rare cases 3 coats, waiting for complete drying between each (up to 12 hours).

⚠️ Attention to:

Do not apply in the sun or near heat sources

Do not use pure protector

Avoid drips on the edges to prevent unsightly marks
