Do I need to sand the furniture before using Magic Paint?

With Magic Paint, you can change the color of furniture or any surface without sanding and without using bonding products.

Its formula has a high bonding power that will allow you to work quickly and cleanly.

Additionally, it is odorless, so it can be safely used indoors, even during the cold season or in the absence of outdoor spaces.

Why choose Magic Paint?

Magic Paint has an extremely high bonding power, allowing it to adhere to practically any surface, including:

wood, raw wood, veneered wood, laminate, formica, burl, iron, plastic, glass, tiles, marble, brass, fabrics, faux leather, walls, … and much more

Magic Paint is easy to apply: you do not need to sand and no primer is required.

This means saving time, avoiding dust, and significantly reducing preparation costs.

How to apply Magic Paint: the complete guide

The application is really simple. Here are all the steps to follow to achieve a flawless result:

1. Thoroughly degrease the surface

Before starting, it is essential to degrease the surface to be painted.
You can do this by preparing the ABA, a mixture made of:

1 liter of hot water

3/4 tablespoons of baking soda

half a glass of ammonia

If you cannot use one of these ingredients, water and a neutral soap will also work .

This step is crucial to ensure perfect adhesion of the paint.

2. Mix and apply the first coat

Mix Magic Paint well and apply the first pure coat, without dilution.
You can use:

a brush (perfect for details, edges, or worked surfaces)

a roller (ideal for smooth and large surfaces)

Apply the paint evenly and avoid drips on the edges for a clean and professional result.

3. Apply the second coat

When the first coat is dry, apply a second coat for complete coverage.
At this stage, you can dilute the paint with about 10% water, if necessary.

4. Protect the surface

The final protection depends on the use of the furniture. You can choose between:

neutral wax

liquid protector (satin, glossy, or matte)

water repellent (perfect for heavily used surfaces)

The protection increases the durability of the work and makes the surface more resistant.
