How is the Antic Pearl color from Magic Paint used?

The use is very simple:

• The first step is to thoroughly degrease the surface you wish to paint with hot water, ammonia, and baking soda (in one liter of water, add 3/4 tablespoons of baking soda and a capful of ammonia; if you are allergic to ammonia, just water and baking soda will suffice). These are the only products that clean the surface well without leaving traces.

• Once the surface is dry, you can proceed with painting. Open the jar, mix well, and proceed with the first very thin coat (avoid leaving drips at the edges as they will not look aesthetically pleasing at the end of the job). Let the surface dry well before proceeding to the third step (it is considered dry when the surface feels warm to the touch. Drying times depend on the environment you are in and the season).

• The second coat should completely cover the surface, so the color underneath will no longer be visible. If the first coat was already very opaque, the second coat can be diluted with 10/15% water. Let it dry well.

• Now you can apply the color Antic pearl, if you apply it with a dry brush you will only achieve a pearlescent glaze, otherwise, if applied intensely, you will have a solid color effect.

• Finally, depending on the furniture, it is recommended to protect with wax (nightstands, dressers, wardrobes, low-wear furniture) or with liquid protector (kitchens, chairs, tables, doors, high-wear furniture). Note: The protector should always be diluted with about 10/15% water.
