How to create a textured stencil with Magic Paint's Materic Cream
To obtain a raised stencil you need the Materic Cream.
This product is a velvety and impalpable emulsion perfect for absolutely defined raised stencils and velvety textured effects to the touch.
It can be spread with a spatula to achieve reliefs with delicate texture.
Instructions:
- Ready to use, it allows for a homogeneous and smooth thick application; - Spreadable with the preferred tool (for example a plastic spatula) depending on the chosen relief effect;
- For creating thick stencils, fix the stencil to the surface with masking tape and apply the emulsion with a spatula (for example Cenerentola);
- Carefully remove the stencil and let dry well before protecting the surface;
- For an antique effect, over-treat with color, aging agents, and waxes from the Magic Paint line.
- If you want to color, take a small amount of the chosen color, preferably from the Magic Paint line, and let it dry before mixing well,
this procedure is necessary to preserve the delicate texture of the product.
- Alternatively, add just a few drops of the preferred tint.
Note: It reaches total deep drying after about 8 hours.
